Hilux is a rapidly growing West Michigan business focusing on the development and manufacture of LED-based lighting solutions for the General Lighting market. Vice President of Operations
As a Vice President of Operations, you will have a leading role in all of our business units in the areas of:
- Materials; global supply chain management; ERP and Lean efficiencies; manufacturing; quality; and technical services, as well as building and maintaining key partner relationships.
- Other responsibilities will include: Define and implement ongoing strategies to meet annual performance goals for inventory, delivery, and quality.
Requirements:
- 10 years minimum experience in senior level management in a product development and manufacturing environment.
- Advanced degree with at least 10 years experience in materials.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Product development and project management expertise.
- Good understanding of ERP systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative, high energy growth environment.
- Leadership and team-building abilities are necessary.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills a must.
- Up to 30% travel required.
- Ability to speak and understand Mandarin is beneficial.
Director of Transportation Product Sales & Business Development
This position will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing new product strategies in domestic transportation markets. Responsibilities include promoting SoundOff Signal’s product line by working with distributors and directly with end users to meet sales plan goals, managing current accounts, working with end users to write specifications for SoundOff products, prospecting, and initiating new business. Up to 50% travel/year is required for this position.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with sales experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to define problems; collect data; establish facts and draw conclusions.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to execute strategic business objectives.
