You may know us as “Sound Off, Inc.” and recall that our first product was a device that added sound to the turn signal of a motorcycle. Several years later we invented the first professional heavy duty headlight flasher which has affectionately become known as the “wig wag” and police vehicle headlights have been flashing ever since. Officer and motorist safety was our goal and we remained a small niche supplier to the police industry until 1992. During that year George Boerigter bought controlling interest in the company and we soon branched out into a broad array of police vehicle lighting. During the next few years Sound Off, Inc. grew rapidly and in 1996 we developed our first strategic alliance with overseas partners. By 1999 the company had formed additional partnerships in several countries, including Asia and Europe. In 2002 we set new goals for safety and proudly introduced the first LED warning lights for American School Buses. Our 7” Round LED Warning Lights are the leading OEM School Bus Warning Light in the industry.

In 2005 we decided to change our name to SoundOff Signal to accurately reflect who we are and we moved into a new 50,000 sq. foot facility. Every day our commitment grows stronger and our goals are set higher to keep all of us safe on the road.
